The Dragino LDS02 is a LoRaWAN door sensor. It detects the door status (open/closed) and sends this information via the LoRaWAN network to the Miggy portal. Users can view the door status, opening time, and the number of times the door has been opened in the Miggy portal.
The LDS02 is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and is designed for long-term use. These two batteries can provide approximately 16,000 to 70,000 uplink packets. When the battery is empty, the user can easily open the enclosure and replace the batteries with 2 standard AAA batteries.
The LDS02 sends data periodically every day and upon each door open/close action. It also counts the number of times the door has been opened and calculates the duration of the last time the door was open. Users can also disable the uplink for each open/close event. Instead, the device can count each open event and send periodic uplinks.
The LDS02 also has an open alarm feature. Users can set this function so that the device sends an alarm if the door has been open for a certain amount of time.
