Showcase: Weather Station

Miggy was asked to come up with a solution for Drie Color Controls BV with the aim of making a modern weather station that can work completely separately from the existing network infrastructure of a building, such as Wifi.

By using LoRaWAN as connectivity, a unit can easily be placed on any roof and work independently. The data is then safely transported to the right systems, which then start working with it.

What also makes this system unique is that beside wind, temperature, humidity 8 light sensors have been placed around it to be able to measure a full 360 degree light incidence in order to control the sun protection very efficiently.
